If the Stars Were Made to Worship, What About Us?

A flower blooms. A bee gathers. They simply live as God designed them. Perhaps the purest form of worship is becoming who God created us to be.

When Worship Music Moves You in Ways You Can’t Explain

“If the stars were made to worship, so will I.” When I hear that line, I think about how all of creation already knows its purpose. The stars shine, bees gather, and flowers bloom exactly as God designed them. They don’t question why they exist, they simply live their purpose, and in doing so they glorify the One who made them.

There was a time when worship music in church would simply make me emotional. I would hear the lyrics, feel the meaning behind them, and sometimes even tear up during the worship portion of the service.

Now when I hear worship music, it moves me in ways I can’t fully explain. It feels deeper now.

Sometimes I think it’s the Holy Spirit working in ways I never noticed before.

Worship Isn’t Just for Hard Seasons

While cancer certainly changed how I experience worship music, the truth is that worship is relevant for every part of life.

Worship isn’t just something we do during church or when life feels overwhelming.

It can be present in the quiet moments of everyday life, when we pause, reflect, and remember that God is present with us in every season.

The music reminds me that hope still exists, even when life feels uncertain.

The Purest Form of Worship

A dear friend of mine who leads worship once shared something that has stayed with me ever since.

He said that when we are doing what God created us to do, that is the purest form of worship.

Think about a flower. It blooms exactly as it was designed to.

Think about a bee.

It gathers and works exactly the way God created it to.

They don’t question their purpose. They simply live it.

Maybe worship isn’t only about the songs we sing.

Maybe worship is also about living the life God designed for us.

Finding Purpose After Cancer

Cancer changed many things in my life, but it also deepened my faith in ways I never expected.

There are moments now when I wonder if God is gently guiding me toward a new purpose in this season.

Maybe part of that purpose is simply sharing this journey, honestly and openly, in hopes that someone else finds encouragement along the way.

If even one person feels less alone because of these words, then that alone would be meaningful.

A Light in a Dark World

The world can feel incredibly heavy at times.

But worship music reminds me that God’s presence is still here.

It reminds me that hope still exists.

And it reminds me that even in the darkest seasons of life, God can still place a light inside of us.

Maybe that light is faith. ✨ Maybe it’s hope.

Or maybe it’s simply the quiet assurance that we are never walking this journey alone.
